Thank you, Psychology

There are so much of people. There’s a kind one, bad one, honest one, lier one, smart one etc. every person has their own character. My eyes was opened about it when o started psychology as my major. Becoming a psychologist, give me a lot of new experience and also new knowledge that very interesting to be learned. I learned every person has a character and nobody has the same. Even twins, they grow in same family, but there always differences between them. For example : a twin named A and B. Both of them are extrovert. But, they are have a different extrovert and have different ways to show their extrovert. It’s very interesting, right? We always look people by their own side, their perspectives and their ways to look themselves.

By studying Psychology, I learned about people personality, about developmental age, developmental task, about how to be a better person, to be good my own self and behave. And now, I know what kind of problem that make me feel sad the most. I know my biggest problem in my life and I know how to solve it with my own way. And the most important, I know myself more than the other person know me. I know my strength and my weakness.

 

By studying psychology, I care about people and care about myself too, of course. I’m type of not care person. It doesn’t mean I’m selfish, but I tidak peduli with myself. I even didn’t know how myself is. I didn’t know what I like the most, what I want in this life. All about it, and I reallt didn’t care about that. Study psychology seems like I get a theraphy for my own self hahaha. And I’m sure it happens with many others students wkwkwk. We called it “berobat jalan” ;p

Well, I were to be thankful because I met this major which is suitable for me and appropriate with my passion. So I were enjoying during the class. Even there’re so many tasks, difficult lectures, heavy practicum, and many else, but if we love the major, we will look it as a challenge, not as a problem. 

The most thing I love psychology because there’s always a connections between psychology and Islam. Psychology teach us how to be a good listener, and Islam do the same. Pychology teach us how to built a good connection with our social, and Islam teach us the same. Psychology teach us how to appreciate our children and how to take care our children by their age.

All of what Islam teach us, is the same thing with theory of psychology and it happened since loooonggg time ago, before there is no theory of Psychology. So I can say, there is a connection between Alquran, Hadist and theory of Psychology. Maybe next time I can write another sample in this blog.
